The Mountain View Los Altos High School Libraries are committed to five central goals:

• Assisting in all aspects of information and technological literacy
• Providing materials and instruction to support the curriculum
• Helping student to become more competent, fluent and engaged readers
• Creating a safe haven for intellectual freedom
• Providing an inviting, productive, and safe space for students to study, create, and get inspired

The overarching aim is to create life-long learners who are ready to meet the informational challenges of the 21st century.
